Sean McCarthy


Controller & Vice President – Finance

Sean McCarthy contributes approximately 20 years of accounting experience in the commercial real estate industry. At Radnor, Sean oversees the accounting, reporting and cashflow management functions within the company’s development arm, equity fund and portfolio of operating assets.

Prior to Radnor, Sean was the Corporate Controller and Fund Controller for Rubenstein Partners, a vertically integrated fund manager for a series of private equity funds focused on office investments throughout the United States. He was responsible for the accounting and reporting activities for all of Rubenstein’s equity funds. Sean’s other duties included management company cash projections, maintaining property-level operating budgets, and evaluation and improvements of internal controls.

Before Rubenstein Partners, Sean served as an Accounting Manager at Morgan Properties, one of the largest multifamily real estate investment and management companies in the nation. Sean was responsible for managing a portfolio of 86 apartment communities totaling 16,800 units. Mr. McCarthy began his career in New York City with a public accounting firm performing audits for some of the most well-known privately held real estate organizations.

Sean is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his MBA and Masters in Accounting from Villanova University, and a B.S. in Accounting from Rowan University.
