King’s College – Spring Brook Water Company & Memorial Church Projects

Wilkes-Barre, PA

After the successful completion of two development projects in partnership with King’s College, Radnor Property Group was retained as the development manager of two historic redevelopment projects on campus. Combined, these projects totaled in excess of $12 million and 26,000 square feet. The Spring Brook project established a new Department of Engineering for the College. Memorial provided for a new multi-purpose assembly and community center where the College can offer programming and events for students and the community at large.

Utilizing Federal Historic Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits for both projects and multiple state grants for Spring Brook, Radnor assisted King’s in their mission to expand academic opportunities and continue to invest in the community. This historic redevelopment included core & shell improvements to both buildings, classroom and laboratory fitout in Spring Brook and the development of ancillary support areas to utilize Memorial as a multi-purpose event space. Construction commenced in mid 2017 and was completed in 2019.
