Vue32 / Summer12, Radnor Property Group’s newest mixed-use residential project in University City, was selected as one of twelve finalists in this year’s 5th Annual “Willard G. ‘Bill’ Rouse III Awards for Excellence” hosted by The Urban Land Institute (ULI).
The Awards for Excellence recognize superior development projects in Eastern and Central Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware that embody the ULI mission of pushing the standard of excellence in real estate and land use and creating sustainable, thriving communities. Priorities for the awards include innovation in planning and design, sustainable development practices, economic success, and social impact to proximate stakeholders.
Vue32 / Summer12 began as a collaborative undertaking between Radnor Property Group and Drexel University to provide a quality preschool for the University’s faculty, staff, and students, address multi-family rental demand from Drexel’s graduate students and University City’s young professionals, and increase homeownership in Powelton Village.
The resulting public-private-partnership (P3) is a 180 student preschool, 164 unit multi-family development, and twelve owner-occupied townhomes- all part of a $60+ million investment by Radnor Property Group in the burgeoning Powelton Village community.
