Radnor Property Group gathered with project partners Piazza Development Company, IMC Construction, and JKRP Architects, and officials from Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, and the Downtown Ardmore District on May 20, 2026 to celebrate the official groundbreaking of The Piazza at Ardmore.

Introducing 270 contemporary apartment units, 30,000 square feet of ground floor retail, and 480 parking spaces, 108 of which will be for public use, The Piazza at Ardmore marks a significant contribution to suburban Philadelphia’s transit-oriented developments. In alignment with Montgomery County’s 2025 comprehensive plan, The Piazza at Ardmore supports the expansion of high-density, multi-family offerings near mass transit, creating a greater sense of community, convenience, and live-work-play environments.

The ceremony speakers included Daniel Piazza, CEO of Piazza Development Company, Christopher Leswing, Lower Merion Director of Building and Planning, Alex Hersch, Executive Director of The Ardmore Initiative, and Commissioner Neil Makhija, Montgomery County’s Board of Commissioners.

The Piazza at Ardmore is expected to be completed in February 2028.
